Ed is first a husband and father of two beautiful children. His extensive law enforcement experiences lead him to partner up with one of the best in the business of martial arts and self-defense! He has a passion for teaching LEO’s and Security Officers defensive tactics techniques and civilians how to defend and protect themselves in this not so safe world we live in.

- Detective Sergeant (ret.) NJ.
- 28 years of Law Enforcement experience.
- 10 years as a Police/Detective Supervisor.
- Certified Police Instructor.
- Instructor in report writing and courtroom testimony
- 19 total years as a Detective/Det. Supervisor assigned to the investigations of Robberies, Burglaries, Thefts, Narcotics, Sexual assaults and more.
- Operated in an undercover capacity for many years purchasing illegal drugs, firearms, murder for hire cases and infiltrated street gangs in the NJ/NY metropolitan area that led to significant numbers of arrests and convictions of criminals and their illicit enterprises.
- Was on loan for almost a decade to the County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force.
- Was highly sought after undercover working with/for the federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Homeland Security and numerous other state, local and federal agencies.
- Undercover Detective Instructor (For the N.J. bi-annual Top Gun and Undercover Narcotics Investigative Training Schools) teaching both LEO’s and members of the Military.
- Was a member of the agencies Active Shooter Response training program.
- Defensive tactics instructor for LEO’s and Security Personnel.

Cesar is a loving husband and father of two wonderful children. Since the age of five he’s had a passion for martial arts that has taken him around the world to train and compete. Besides the US, Cesar has trained in China, Portgal and England, just to name a few.
